Wings of Steel Sled Hockey Team

We are a sled hockey program for individuals with physical disabilities.

 

The Wings of Steel were founded in 2001 by Tom Brake, Lynn Brake and Lori Kile. Since then, the program has provided a fun and competitive environment for kids with disabilities to play as a team and form lasting friendships. Since the inception of the team, we have held up to our mission of providing a positive encouraging and fun team environment without charging families for their child to play.

Over the years, our team has grown into a family and not just a team.

The Wings of Steel practice on Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Virtua Skate Zone in Voorhees.
