Welcome to the Wings of Steel Sled Hockey Team Website. Here you will find all there is to know about our team both past and present. Have a look around and get to know us.

The Wings of Steel are a youth sled hockey team which has been in existence since 2001. We practice and play out of the Virtua Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Sled hockey is an adaptive sport for individuals with physical disabilities that proclude them from participating in standard hockey. It is just as exciting as able bodied hockey with a few changes to equipment and rules. It's played on a specially designed sled with two skate blades on the bottom and two sticks rather than one. Players use the pic end of those sticks to propel themselves and the blade end to play the puck.

The Wings of Steel Sled Hockey Team would like to welcome and thank the team's new sponsor "Power of 6" for its generous support.
